The Mountain Goats Café and Climber’s Rest Bar offer scrumptious day and evening dining options.

The Mountain Goats Café is open for lunch from 11.30am in the summer only and evening dining from 5.30pm until 9pm in the winter and until 9.30pm in the summer. The Climber’s Rest Bar opens from 4pm and is equipped with a large screen TV, pool table, darts board and small casino.

Breakfast is available in the buffet dining room from 6.30am in the summer and 7.30am in the winter.

You can be assured that at either of our two dining options situated within the Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier you will be getting a honest, tasty and warming West Coast meal filled with local delicacies like whitebait or warming Kiwi favourites to refuel you after a day of glacier activities. Our full buffet breakfasts will also well prepare you for whatever the day ahead brings.
