Kevin and Noeleen welcome you to our 2200 acre beef cattle and sheep farm. Beautiful native bush-clad mountains surround on 3 sides, and we enjoy a view of Mt Cook. Our spacious 105 year old character home, built for Kevin's grandparents, has fine stained glass windows. The breakfast room overlooks peaceful pastures to the hills, and you are served home-made yoghurt, jams, marmalade, scones etc, with a cooked breakfast if desired.

.... We are very well travelled internationally and enjoy discussing and learning of other countries, trips, etc.

Kevin has a wealth of knowledge of farming and local family history; a descendant of the two pioneering families. He loves talking to farmers from other countries.

The guest lounge, with its beautiful wooden panelled ceiling, has an open fire for cool autumn nights. The Homestead is a rural retreat within walking distance of village facilities, with Matheson (Mirror Lake) and the Glacier nearby. It is our pleasure to help you with helihikes, helicopter scenic flights and glacier walks.

Our accommodation is unsuitable for small children. Bookings recommended. Smoke-free.
